If you’re using Canva, you know It’s a great tool for creating all kinds of graphics, and it’s free. But I think it’s important to understand the difference between using Canva as a free tool and using it as part of your marketing strategy.
It is fine if all you want to do is create one piece of content — say, an image for Facebook or Twitter — but what happens when you want to create more? What happens when your business needs more than just one graphic?
I use Canva frequently (I even created an ebook with Canva), but I also buy templates from time to time. In fact, most of the graphics on my website were created with templates!
And here are some reasons why:
They will save you time. If you have to design your page from scratch, it could take a lot of time and effort. You will have to find the right images and write the content for your site.
If you buy a template, most of these tasks will be done for you by someone else. Not only that but they will be done well because they are professionals in their field who know what they are doing.
You can focus on what really matters – marketing your business. When people visit your site, they want to see information about what makes your business unique as well as what makes it stand out from the competition.
It’s cheaper than hiring a designer on an hourly basis. While it may cost more upfront when compared to using free templates, it costs less in the long run since there is no ongoing monthly fee associated with using them like there would be if you hired someone full-time or part-time.
Pro Templates give you a base design that’s ready-made but still customizable so that it matches your style.
They look professional and make you look like an expert in your field or industry.
